The glamping section has 2 tipis, a bathhouse, 4 retro-style campers and a 2 bedroom vintage trailer home. Altogether we can accommodate your group of 30-35 guests.

Experience a delightful trip down memory lane with our charmingly restored 1957 "Magnolia" trailer, where mid-century decor meets modern-day comfort. Immerse yourself in the simplicity of a bygone era as you revel in the warmth of original beech wood paneling and take in the stunning unobstructed mountain and pasture views. The trailer is equipped with all the modern amenities you need: A/C ,heat, kitchen with gas stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, seating area, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom.

The master bedroom features a full-sized bed, while the second bedroom has two twin beds - perfect for families or friends. Enjoy the ultimate retro experience as you relax in the living room, complete with a HIFI console:M/FM/Turntable, and a collection of vinyl records to set the mood. Step outside onto your private patio and unwind on period furniture, fire up the BBQ and enjoy the shade of the awning. Wake up to a delicious Breakfast Basket, available for $25 per person. Please note, our trailer is seasonally available from Mid May unti OCT. You are stepping back in time to a mid-century decor and interior two bedroom trailer home. Filled with period details, real birch walls, comfortable beds and furnishings. A full kitchen and bathroom, and a hi-fi stereo with am/fm radio and records. Loads of privacy with nothing but nature out your front door.

The entire trailer, patio and yard are  yours to enjoy. You may come into the lodge to use the wifi, get a coffee, order breakfast (fee applies), browse our library for books or games, and use our outdoor deck and hot tub.

We are here if you need us, otherwise we give you complete privacy.

We are out in the country with cattle ranches on all sides of our property. We have a hiking trail on our land that takes about 45 minutes to complete. Our property is completely fenced in. We have a barn, two greenhouses, a firepit, also available to rent during the summer are our vintage trailer, 4 retro campers and 2 tipis. We are located about 6 miles west of historic downtown Salida.

We have parking nearby for you. There are taxis and uber in the town of Salida.

The Mountain Goat Lodge is located on 20 acres. We have guests that stay in the lodge, in the tipis and campers, and this trailer. You can interact with them if you wish, but the Magnolia offers complete privacy. Wifi is not very strong in the Magnolia, but you may use the wifi in the lodge.

Located on our 20 acre goat farm, with fantastic views from every corner, among Juniper and Pinon Pine trees, you will find our modern yet rustic canvas tipis with either a Bighorn Sheep or a Mountain Goat painted on it! This marvel of native American engineering is just what you need to feel like you are camping, without all the work. Even when it rains - you stay dry! AVAIL MAY - OCT

New in 2022 we have one queen sized bed in each tipi. You will bring your own bedding and pillow. We can rent sleeping bags and pillows for an additional 10.00 fee if you need them. There is a hot tub and a full bathroom with hot shower nearby. We are on 20 acre goat farm. You can pet the animals. We have a hiking trail as well.

You will have a luxurious, mountain viewed 2 room suite inside our lodge.   You will have a delicious farm fresh hearty country breakfast each morning. You will get Espresso drinks for free, as many as you like! 
The suites are priced for two people, although 4 people may stay in them for an extra fee of 35.00 per person per night. All of our rooms are pet friendly, for additional fee of $30 per pet per night. We will add the pet fee when you get here. Coffee/tea available 24 hrs.

Your space includes both a living room with super comfortable queen hide-a-bed sofa, microwave oven, mini-fridge, large screen television, and  electric fireplace. Your bedroom has a king sized bed with tv, desk, closet and private bathroom.

You will get a code to open both your guestroom door and the door to the lodge.
